RON ROGERS
Vice President, Operations
After entering the construction workforce as a pipe fitter and welder, Ron Rogers quickly rose through the ranks and specialized to became one of 125 people in the entire world certified to perform diametric video welding on active nuclear reactors.
Moving into management, Mr. Rogers was tasked with overseeing the design, installation, qualification and turnover packages of Siemens automated systems for all life sciences, pharmaceutical and hospital projects within the state of North Carolina.
As his career continued to progress, Mr. Rogers became facilities director for a global pharmaceutical company. There, he helped create the site master plan and designs, and specified mechanical, electrical and plumbing criteria for a brand-new, 126,000-square-foot commercial drug manufacturing facility and 17,000-square-foot stability storage facility.
Prior to joining Asterra Labs, Mr. Rogers oversaw construction at sterile facilities, gene therapy laboratories and manufacturing facilities throughout the country.
Mr. Rogers will be responsible for managing the day to day operations at Asterra Labs.
